Dailey:

• Full production began on the fourth line at the plant.
• Process engineers have developed aggressive schedules to assure constant supply of materials.
• Implemented our 15 year warranty

Seo: In January 2003, Samsung Staron launched a new product – 100% acrylic solid surface sinks and bowls. Staron's complete line of kitchen sinks and bathroom bowls are available in three neutral shades to complement the entire range of Staron colors. Like Staron countertops, the new sinks and bowls are nonporous, durable and easy to maintain. The sinks and bowls bond directly with Staron countertops for a smooth, attractive finish. Samsung has also added 10 new Staron colors, increasing its palette to 51 colors and patterns.

Weddington: We've raised the bar in design with the introduction of Earthstone last year. It offers the most natural looking granite pattern and the largest chip design in acrylic sheet formulation in the market today. It's been a huge success for Wilsonart.

We also introduced Aspen Melange last year as an addition to the Gibraltar palette. It's an excellent color though awareness of it has been a bit overshadowed by the success and promotion of Earthstone. New technology allowed for this clean, white-on-white interpretation of our very successful Melange pattern.

Park: We have expanded our color offering, adding two new categories. We are now selling direct to distributors and have an expanded sales rep force to cover the U.S. Taking advantage of our excellent ability in color development, we will put epoch- making new colors on the market in the year 2004.

2. In general terms, what new innovations should we expect in the future?

Olson: As a market shaper, DuPont is committed to using its strength in material science and understanding of end user desires to bring valued and differentiated solutions to its customers. It's too early to share what's next but fabricators and industry partners can be confident that DuPont will continue to bring exciting innovations to the marketplace.

Clement: Solid Surfacing will display totally new looks and the industry is far away from having shown all design possibilities; some of these in the R&D phase are totally new and unexpected. It seems that the sky has no limit for this type of material. Formica Corporation, world wide leader in decorative surfaces, has always been ahead in inventing new surfaces and creatively mimicking various materials.

Dailey: Particulated bowls, implementation of enhanced chip technologies, market specific offerings.
