Saw And Waterjet Systerm
The new FUSION 4000 CNC Saw/Waterjet is designed and manufactured with a smaller footprint. The design allows table access from the front or the side resulting in efficient material flow and machine productivity. One sawing head performs double duty. The saw makes straight cuts with a diamond blade up to 180 in. per minute and the waterjet cuts complex curves up to 17 in. per minute. The touch-screen interface for the Siemens 840Di CNC control unit makes the machine simple to operate. Simply position the material, scan a bar code to call up the program and the machine begins to work. Included is the company's Nested Base Stone Fabrication, which utilizes the common line cutting strategy and reportedly reduces fabrication time and increases stone yield by nearly 10 percent. The KerfPath Cutting Cycle blends the cuts between the saw and waterjet for labor savings and efficiency. |

Saw/Jet Machine
The Hensel 598 WJ is a combination waterjet and bridge saw for the production of countertops available from High Tech Stone. The machine can accommodate up to four slabs at floor level, increasing productivity of existing or future CNC machines. Photographic software allows the fabricator to illustrate what the countertop will look like before the blade and waterjet begin to cut the slabs. The machine features a 30-hp high pressure pump from KMT with an optional larger pump, a 15-hp saw motor, 16-in. blade size, 360-degree blade turning capability, 45-degree blade tilting capability and siemens controls. |

Waterjet Cutting Equipment
ESAB Cutting Systems' Hydrocut CNC shape cutting machine combines waterjet and plasma cutting capabilities in a single machine. HydroCut uses patented system permitting thermal and nonthermal processes to be installed on the same gantry, allowing the machine to cut with the speed of plasma and accuracy of a waterjet. High-precision contours on stone can be cut with waterjet, while less stringent contours on other materials can be cut with plasma. |

Waterjet and Saw
Advanced Industrial Machinery Inc. offers the Master JetSaw 3200. With precision waterjet and 20-hp saw, the machine reportedly delivers increased cutting capability with lower operating costs. It measures less than 20 ft. wide and 17 ft. deep and offers a compact profile designed to maximize floor space. The product is powered by an Apex Intensifier designed to reduce installation and operation costs. The machine draws less than 30 Amps at 460 VAC and the intensifier delivers a progressive increase in power that eliminates blowouts in brittle stone. |

Waterjet Cutting Equipment
RoboCut 6 Axis Water Jet/Saw Cutting System, from US Granite Robotics Inc., is designed specifically for the stone fabricator. The system is well equipped with a Saccardo 20-hp saw motor using 16- to 18-in. blades and a 50-hp KMT Water Jet for precise cutting. Utilizing a double table cutting system allows for maximum productivity and shorter time for loading and unloading slabs says the company. RoboLogic software allows one step importing of .DXF files and the preprogrammed process settings do the work for you. |
