The new Anver Corp. HC108D Seam Alignment tool held readers' interest in 2006. The tool consists of two hand suction cups for picking up nonporous surfaces and features a removable turnbuckle assembly for turning them together. Once the two surfaces have been positioned, the ratcheting turnbuckle can be bolted in place for setting the seam and has a reversing gear for quick release.
