Whether fabricating quartz, solid surface or natural stone, the saw is one of the most important tools for any fabricator and that may never change. However, saws themselves tend to change regularly, and knowing what is available can be a challenge. So, we’ve contacted the manufacturers and here is what some of them had to share.

BC Saw & Tool has introduced a new Leuco Topcoat panel saw blade. These new blades utilize proprietary coatings, resulting in up to four times the life of traditional panel saw blades, reports the company. According to the manufacturer, the saw blades have an exceptional edge life, provide a smoother cut, lower scoring blade costs and reduce downtime by 75 percent.

Colonial Saw announces the introduction of a new and improved Optisaw Vertical Panel Saw from Striebig. The Optisaw Standard, as the new saw is designated, features many upgrades and builds on the solid foundation and Swiss quality of the original Optisaw.
