Rail Saw

AccuGlide Saws offers the AccuGlide PRO, a redesigned model with expanded capabilities for shops without CNC or water jet equipment. In addition to precision straight cuts and miters on rails, the PRO highlights "build-on" options for custom cutting. The saw also cuts sweeping arcs for custom designed countertops and floors. In addition, the MiterMaster System is compatible with all AccuGlide Saws including the PRO for clean miters and bevels in 2 and 3cm stone, reports the company.

Bridge Saw

The B300 high-production bridge saw, from Johnson Marble Machinery Inc., offers efficiency and speed features. The saw is equipped with options that include laser alignment, digital measurement readout, and drives and speed controls on x-, y- and z-axes. The package includes full gantry ability including steel rails and a 360 degree rotating turntable. The carriage moves on hardened bearings and elevates and lowers the motor assembly with lift rod tubes and adjustable tapered slide bearings. The main motor tilts to lock and cut from zero to 120 degrees. The turntable is machined and can be locked at 45-degree intervals with a pneumatic piston.

CNC Machining Centers

EZCNC introduces a new line of CNC routers for the solid surface fabricator. The fabricator's choice machine features a heavy tubular welded steel frame. The moving gantry design is powered by high-torque motors and rides on precision four-row recirculating bearings and hardened rails. Standard packages include Columbo spindles and Republic vacuum pumps. All EZCNC systems feature EZCAM, a graphic machine control software that is user-friendly and requires no specialized training. Anyone in the shop can easily run parts. Machines are "turnkey" systems that include everything needed to start production.

Radial Arm Workstation

High Tech Stone offers the Galaxy 4000 Multistar workstation. It has a production area of 118.1 by 43.3 in., a vertical tool head stroke (z axis) of 10.2 in. and a spindle speed of 500 to 11,000 rpm. The machine can be used for drilling, edging, milling, polishing and sawing. It has clamps and a vacuum system for holding down material and the production head travels via rail. The machine can handle stone between 0.4 and 2.4 in. thick, offers template support and features an overall size of 137.8 by 78.7 by 70.8 in.

Rail Saw

Raimondi Tools USA has launched the Gladiator Advanced Overhead Rail Saw, one of three new additions to the company's range of wet saws. Equipped with telescopic legs for easy transport, the saw has the ability to rip up to 51 1/8 in. and cut a 35 3/8- by 35 3/8-in. diagonal, while maintaining an accurate cut. The saw is designed with an extruded aluminum body. It is used for cutting granite, marble, porcelain, brick and cement with an adjustable cutting depth and smooth plunge cutting with up to a 10-in. blade. Its tilting, 1.5-hp motor makes bevel cuts from zero to 45 degrees.

Rail Saw

The Festool TS plunge-cut saw and guide rail system provides users with performance and results, reports the company. The included guide rail and splinterguard ensures cuts are straight and splinter free on both sides of the blade. TS saws have dust extraction ports and when attached to a dust extractor, keep the work area clean. The new parallel guides enable users to make consistent, repeatable rip cuts.
