ACS International, Inc. announces a new product line called Ecotone Surfaces with ten colors for immediate release. Designed as a pre-blended filler for open mold applications, the Ecotone product line uses post-consumer recycled content.

"The market demand for a product using a high percent of recycled material has continued to increase," says Greg Novak, president of ACS International. "We chose to stay with post-consumer recycled glass as the main ingredient in order to provide designers and builders with a product capable of acquiring a higher level of LEED® points, as well as its stunning aesthetics. Combined with bio-resins, end parts made with Ecotone material will accomplish this goal."

Within the initial Ecotone color pallet there are eight colors using post-consumer recycled bottle glass in concentrations ranging from 80 to 90 percent by weight. In addition, two Ecotone colors contain organic material derived from consumer by-products.

WARDJet has released the new Psy-Winder 5-axis abrasive waterjet cutting head. Improvements include a height and crash sensor option, fixed mechanical tool tip (no kinematic model), greater range of travel (capacity of 12- to 24-in. vertical travel on Z axis) and cutting angle from 0 degrees vertical to 90 degrees horizontal. Five-axis cutting is the perfect solution for cutting bevels and weld preps in material. Software makes it fast and easy to program bevels on parts or to allow for taper compensation to virtually eliminate the taper commonly found on parts cut by a waterjet. Post processors are available for both 2D and 3D CAM software. Up to nine Psy-Winder 5-axis cutting heads can be installed on one cross beam with a single X-Classic controller (which can be retrofitted to all past WARDJet systems and to most other waterjet systems). Depending on the waterjet system, speeds can be up to 2,000 in./min.

Made in the USA, the Omni Cubed, Inc. Sink Hole Saver Angle Bracket allows protection of "L", "bat wing" or any other angled countertops during transport. The product connects two Sink Hole Saver rails of any length, allowing between zero and 270 degrees of rotation. The product works great for inside and outside corners, making it especially helpful for transport and installation of "L-shaped" countertops.
