Avonite Surfaces has introduced six new colors to expand both its Recycled Products and Metallics Series, and reintroduced a seventh color because of demand from the design community. The new products added to the Recycled Products line emphasize strong earth tones. The new colors are Palm Desert, an earthy taupe with light accents; White Sands, a rich ivory and beige product; and Crushed Lava, featuring complimentary ebony, brown and pearl tones. The color reintroduced due to demand is Cottonwood, a fundamental white with minimum earth accents.
The Metallics line has also been expanded with the introduction of three new colors: Pearl, a pure frosted surface; Teal Steel, an eye-popping slate for daring design choices; and Chocolate Silk, a cocoa-inspired product.

Chemcore Industries has added a product to its line that throws something a little different into the mix of solid surfaces: Dovae Solid Surface is as close a product to real quartz as one can find, yet retains all the advantages of solid surface. The line includes colors such as Twilight Quartz, as well as four others, and will allow solid surface fabricators to offer a product that can be shown to customers who prefer the look of quartz.
Chemcore also introduces a new set of solid surface products called the “Onyx” line that mimics the appearance of marble. Featuring eight colors, the Onyx line will give fabricators the chance to recommend a real marble-looking product with all of the benefits offered by solid surface.
