Translucent Solid Surface
The 2009 Arctic Series, by DuPont, is a line of translucent surfacing material. Five new colors, including Arctic Blueberry, Arctic Mint, Arctic Strawberry, Arctic Lime, and Arctic Ice, have been introduced featuring white particulates that dot the colors, creating a flurry of movement within the material. The series allows more light to pass through than other Corian colors, combining the dimensions of light with a material that can be thermoformed, bent, textured and cut. Available in half-inch thicknesses, the translucency can be enhanced or minimized depending on the strength and color of the light source. |

Recycled Quartz Surfacing
Cosentino has launched ECO by Cosentino designed to provide performance, design and sustainability. The product is composed of 75 percent post-industrial and post-consumer recycled raw material, including: mirrors, glass, granulated glass, porcelain and industrial furnace residuals from factories in the form of crystallized ashes. The recycled content is mixed with 25 percent natural material, including stone scrap from mountains, quarries, manufacturing and fabrication, and is bonded together with a 22 percent corn oil resin. The product is available in slabs of 63 by 128 in. and standard tile sizes of 12 by 12 in., 18 by 18 in. and 24 by 24 in. |

Natural Stone
Everlife by Innovative Stone introduces a new color, Peach Red, to its natural stone countertop collection. The addition is a part of the company's Vitality collection, comprised of a global collection of designer-selected granite, marble, quartzite and soapstone colors. Everlife countertops are stain resistant and protected by the company's PermaShield technology. The new color comes with a 15-year stain-resistant warranty and is available from select kitchen designers across the U.S. |

Translucent Solid Surface
LG Surfaces has launched Lucent, a 100 percent acrylic translucent solid surface. Available in four translucent colors (Emerald, Opal, Sapphire and Ruby) the line allows architects and designers to combine the soft shades with light sources. The solid surface line can be routed and laser-etched with patterns, and structures can be worked into the material. The line is also durable, hygienic, renewable, uniform and stain resistant, making it suitable for commercial interior spaces. |

Metal Tiles
Outwater Plastic's Metal Tiles are comprised of 304-grade stainless steel that has been hand sorted by size and shape, and then individually adhered in mosaic patterns onto mesh style backings to create seamless interlocking 12- by 12-in. tiles that are simple to install using traditional masonry methods, materials and tools. Suitable for interior use in a vast range of projects, the tiles are offered in numerous styles and colors.

Quartz Surfacing
Pangea Quartz is a line of engineered quartz stone manufactured in Vietnam under the Italian patented seal of BretonStone and TeraStone. Current offerings include more than 50 colors. The materials are available in sizes of 118 by 55 in. in ½, ¾ and 1 ¼ in. thicknesses. |

Quartz Surfacing
Staron Surfaces, a division of Samsung, has re-branded its line of quartz surfaces - now called Radianz. The current collection features 14 distinct colors. The quartz material is comprised of more than 93 percent natural quartz crystals. Because the product is a manufactured surface blending the natural quartz with polymers, it's able to ensure color consistency and predictability in each application. It is also non-porous making it extremely hygienic. |

Recycled Quartz Surfacing
CaesarStone offers six different colors that contain recycled materials. Carbone, Marrone, Ruby Reflections, Quartz Reflections, Smoky Ash and Chocolate Truffle all have the distinction of being part of the recycled collection. Ruby and Quartz Reflections, Chocolate Truffle and Smoky Ash all contain post-consumer recycled glass. Carbone and Marrone contain recycled CaesarStone material. The collection is nonporous, stain-, scratch- and heat-resistant. The company features global standard ISO 14001 certification for environmental protection. |

Solid Surface Materials
Diamond Surfaces has added three new colors to its line of surfacing material: Venetian V135, Newcastle N134 and Nutmeg N136. The neutral tones of the material work in many decorating situations. The colors are stocked in 1¼ in., ½ in. and ¼ in. solid surface sheets. Sheet sizes are 1¼ by 30 by 120 in., ½ by 30 by 144 in. and ¼ by 30 by 96 in. Custom sizes are available for as few as eight sheets. |

Granite Mold Spray
ACS International has released a spray version of its popular Terra Bella line of engineered granite. Using smaller particle sizes, the product does not require special tip sizes or equipment for spraying and uses standard industry gel coat. Designed to be applied behind a clear layer of gel coat, the spray is suitable for wall panels, shower surrounds, vanity molds, decks, tubs and many application where molds are used. Each of the ten colors developed uses the natural stones used in the cast version of Terra Bella, including semi-precious gemstones and minerals. |

Stainless Steel Sinks
Domain Industries has introduced 11 new models to its line of Stratus stainless steel sinks. Each sink is hand-crafted from 15-gauge, certified-304 stainless steel and features bowl depths up to 11 in. and widths up to 43 in. The sinks also feature 15 mm radius corners that allow the sinks to be cleaned and maintain during daily use. |

Faux Brick Paneling
Texture Plus has begun offering a new product: White Brick Interlock. The interlocking panels allow professionals to create white brick backdrops simpler than with traditional brick. Each panel is 2 ft. tall, 4 ft. wide, 1/2 to 5/8 in. thick and covers approximately 6.7 sq.ft. The material weighs approximately 5 lbs. The panels slide together for a seamless faux brick finish. |
