The Mega-Jaw Carry Clamp by Omni Cubed has been designed for safe carrying of countertops. The lightweight clamp (2.6 lbs.) opens up to 2.6 in., or 66 mm, to accommodate thick countertop materials including concrete. The clamp features high-strength aluminum arms and non-marking, tear-resistant rubber gripping pads. To distribute the weight of heavy countertops, two installers per clamp can be used on each side of the top (four people total). The tension in the clamp is adjustable, and the clamp "holds on" to the top when not in use. Each pair of clamps has a rated capacity of 500 pounds, and the more weight lifted, the tighter the clamps grip.

Rubenator Z Bit, developed by Sinai Marble &Granite and available through Braxton-Bragg, is designed for the shaping of sink cutouts and cutting radiuses. It can be mounted in a router or angle grinder. The router bit now features 3" blades and allows for freehand use. The dry cutting segments cut through hard stone, and replacement blades are economical. When used freehand with an angle grinder or pneumatic polisher, the product reportedly acts as a replacement for silicon carbide cup wheels. The 3-in. diameter is suitable for most sink shapes and corners.
