Looking at a report in Business Week from Oct. 11, 2006, titled "Royal Flush" by Douglas MacMillan, our January spotlight seems to have come at just the right time. The report noted that a major shift is occurring in the $290 billion industry of home remodeling from the kitchen to luxurious, spacious high-tech new bathrooms. With the comfort and pleasure of homeowners in every fabricator's interest, we have taken a look at some of the accessories available that enhance the bathroom that could be potential upsells and have gathered information to share with you here.
Apollo International Products LLC offers 100 percent acrylic vanity bowls. They are lightweight, can be hard seamed to laminate or solid surface, and soft seamed to granite. AquaOne Technologies introduces the patented Fish-n-Flush, a clear two-piece toilet tank that replaces traditional tanks and contains a fully functioning aquarium. It fits most toilets, operates as a conventional interior tank and is manufactured from clear PETG to ensure a strong and durable reservoir. The 2.2-gal. aquarium piece will accept fresh water as well as saltwater and can be easily removed for cleaning without obstructing the toilet from working. The toilet tank itself holds 2.5 gal. of water, which is sufficient head pressure to flush properly.
