But, how about the rest of the solid surface world? What do designers, specifiers and your fabricator colleagues know about the extent of your company's creativity, the expertise of your staff and your exquisite methods of execution?
Maybe it's time you showed us.
We are issuing a call for entries in the first annual SurfaceFabrication Design Contest. This is your chance to demonstrate the magnitude of your company's inventive mastery in the field of solid surface and quartz surfacing fabrication. We're talking real life projects, here — hobby projects or fanciful showroom displays.
Entries will be judged by a panel of experts in each of six categories:
• Residential Kitchen
• Residential Bath
• Commercial
• Institutional
• Non-traditional Application
• Overall Design
Criteria for selecting winners will be based on the overall impression of the project, aesthetic appeal, attention to detail, use of materials in unusual and inventive applications, functionality of space and how well the installation meets the objectives of the customer.
Winners will be featured in the September/October issue of SurfaceFabrication, in Kitchen and Bath Design News (combined circulation of over 50,000 industry professionals in 46 countries), selected Cygnus publications, and on this website. Contest winners will also be recognized with a plaque and news releases.
The deadline for receipt of materials is July 1st, which means you have no time to waste.
Don't delay. After all, worldwide bragging rights are at stake.
