What is the best way to apply wood / mdf / partical board etc.. to solid surface ? silicone and hot melt works, but sometimes it loosens and then requires clamping and set time or gets a big glue line and thickness becomes a problem.

I have been testing / analizing this with different glues and hot melts, but always go back to silicone with hot melt. tried and true methord.

But was looking for something with a faster cure/working time without the clamping time. You know faster cheaper!
We only use A/C fir plywood which has an exterior glue, unlike MDF.

Curious what are others are using for there build up and adhesive methord :?:

A shop I used to work in used a clear fast setting adhesive, similar to crazy glue but thicker. They used MDF for underlayment and this stuff worked really well.

Sorry I can't give you the name or a source.

Boy Joe, I don't want you dumping on me, PLEASE!.

The Wilsonart adhesive for solid surface was engineered for SSV. It will bond solid surface to solid surface, and solid surface to wood. Try it.

Russ:

I want you to dump some Okite samples on me. That is some cool quartz. Let's make some money.

Hurry,
