I use a 3M polygun TC and I'm running low on glue. Before I reorder I thought I'd find out what you all use and why.

I use a yellow, fast setting glue in the shop, and I like a clear, slower setting glue in the field.

Most everything I do in the shop is temporary and I like the yellow because it releases easier, in the field I want a more permanent bond and a little more open time.

I don't know the numbers of the glues I have now, the boxes are long gone and I'll have to look for the invoice.

I ordered the last batch over the net, who has the best prices?

Todd:

I've got the same gun (I think). Do the sticks have the notches? If so, the 11LB. boxes of glue I bought were about ninty bucks.

If it's the same gun and glue, sell me a few pounds, please. I really don't want to spend ninty bucks to be able to use my gun again around the house and I keep bumming straight sticks from Dani that I have to push through with my thumb.

Thanks,

Joe

Joe,

You bet, stop by anytime.

Just kidding, I'll send you some when it gets here. Send me your address.

THE AMBER COLORED 3M STICKS MAY BE THE 3747Q, THE CLEAR 3M 3792Q. Q STANDS FOR QUADRAC (STICKS W/ RIDGES) AND DO COME STD IN 11LB CASE. THE GUN IS A TC GUN AND WITH A QUAD ADAPTER THE SAME TC GUN (WHICH SHOOTS THE TC OR 5/8 X 2 STICKS) BECOMES A QUAD. BRUCE ADHESIVES SELLS BOTH THE GUNS AND STICKS BUT A LOT OF DOLLARS CAN BE SAVED BY EITHER BUYING THE 5/8 X 2 FROM BRUCE FOR ABOUT 80.00 PER 20LB CASE OR CONVERTING FROM THE Q TO ANY 1/2" X 10" STICK APPROXIMATELY 75.00 PER 25LB CASE.
