Anyone ever use the Integra Dishwaher mounts?? They have the sliding and also the Static mount.
I use a 2" front edge so I have to provide mounting. Just wondering??

I have never used any of their products, we do several undermount sinks and they seem to have a good clip mount too

Their adhesives are great!
Anyone know of their hardware??

Thanks Ray, for the samples too!!

Hey Kelsey,

I learned at the JMI that most dishwashers come with side mounting clips. Usually there are hidden under the insulation and you can't see them. Wo next time when you do your remplate, just look to see if they are there. If the clips are on the side don't even bother with using the top clips.

Also, I haven't tried there mounts, I didn't know they had any. How do they work?

Andy

KC. I have been using the Rotalok sink mounting hardware for a couple of years now. I like it alot. Easy to useand cost effective. I prefer the post already mounted M1B38 kit. I don't understand what advantage the Allen keyed bolt and Base provides. Once you have tried them you may find that many of the clips you have collected over the years will also fit. I never liked drilling into SSM for the brass threaded inserts. Therefore, I had previously tried many shop built fastening systems, all of which were labor intensive. Then I found these, no more worries.

My only problem has been occassionaly a clip may pop loose. This may be a result of my using an incorrect adhesive. I tend to use seam adhesive because I glue these babies at the same time I glue edging. If one should pop loose I reglue with superglue and a squirt of hardener then it's good as new.

Dishwasher hardware? Thanks Andy, I didn't realize that DW clips had an adjustment. I will try the Rotalok clips again. They should work great.

We just mount a piece of pine in the D.W. location and use wood screws to adhere the D.W.

here is what I do. I know most of you only use a 1" front edge so the dishwasher tabs can be screwed to the mdf. I use a 2" edge so I have to provide a mounting solution. I have been routing a place for 1/2" plywood, use some seam adhesive and it works great. I was just in an appliance store and measured all the dishwashers. The mounts were 3.5 to 6.25 from the outside edge.
Just wondering how everyone provides mounting not knowing the brand of DW.

Andy, I have a brand new Whirlpool installation book and it does not say anything about side mounting clips. I'm off to the appliance store in the morning..

All:
My wife just bought a new GE Monogram dishwasher with her bonus. We have Zodiaq tops. I removed a stainless steel button on the top front side of the DW, ran a provided stainless steel screw through and reinstalled the button to cover the hole. Sweet.
Appliance manufacturer's know that many people are buying granite and Quartz which is why the mounting technology is changing.

Screwed and liked it,

Joe

The Allen keyed Bolt and Base kits provide the option of adhering the base to the top and then transporting the finished top without 3/4" or 1" bolt sticking out. The bolt is then screwed into the base when needed.

Regular seam adhesive is too brittle for this application which can result in the base "popping off" if stress is introduced. Our Composite Bonder RTP-01 is a toughened adhesive designed specifically for this aplication.

We also use 2" wide build up, which will require a place to screw appliances
into so they won't tip.

Simply made up a jig out of Giraltar ( use the polished backside facing up)
route two notches 1" deep 8" long starting at the outside 24" dim. from either end then silicone in a 2"x8" plywood block already precut from stock.

Works slick, never had a call back again because a plumber screwed right up into the the top.

We do the same as Joe. Run a nice screw through the side of the dishwasher, outside of the seal of course, and into the side of the cabinet. Most dishwashers if you open the door and look at the sides already have a few screws in this neighborhood anyway. Just drill a pilot hole, run the screw in, and you're done.
