Anyone have a good method for plugging a faucet hole on a top with a coved backsplash?

Len what about a plug? We have a set of bits we purchased from Titman tools during the first show. But I think Dave at Fedsaw might have a bit as well that does plugs.

Len, do you have a plug repair set now? Could you elaborate further. May be a diameter of cutter problem.

Hi Dave,
The basic problem is that you can't get a router over the faucet hole because the base hits the cove.
Len,
Make a plug out ¾” MDF drill a hole in the middle of the plug for a ¼ X 20 bolt attach thin strips of sandpaper from a sanding belt. You can screw them on with small screws on the top and bottom. Put a bolt through the center hole and tighten the nut on top and use a hand drill to sand the taper in the hole to accept the tapered plug. You may need to cut relief pockets in the side of the MDF plug so it is not too big. Take your time it will work.
